In October 2023 will take place the first French scientific event focusing on the links between LGBT+ studies and musicology in the classical tradition. Organized at the Paris Conservatory, this international conference will be an opportunity to examine the research on LGBT+ composers, and to produce new reflections on the works and the aesthetics associated with them. This event responds to a historiographic and epistemological project, encouraging us to reconsider music history from an inclusive perspective.
